Mark Tanner came to the industry by way of optical and visual effects at England’s Pinewood Studios. He graduated to Production Designer after working as an Art Director on lauded movies such as
Saving Private Ryan, Waking Ned Devine and The Clandestine Marriage.
As Production Designer Mark has worked throughout television, music videos, commercials and features.

I read your bogs whenever I get a moment, and was all happy inside to see the title of your last one, thinking maybe I had a chance to learn something about the history of the art side of the business (which nobody seems to care about even though–hello???—film is a visual medium). But I see the blog has been removed. Will it come back? Or will the historical overview from your POV remain a secret? By the way, I commented on your comment on my first blog. And thank you for your comment!
